Let's face it; we are never good at taking care of our clothes. Though premium graphic tees can withstand a few washes without the proper care, following the recommended steps is worth trying to extend the lifetime of your tees.

Clothing longevity is advantageous not just for your budget but the environment as well.

There are numerous ways on how to preserve graphic tees. Some of them are common tricks, while some are new hacks that we haven't thought of before.

In this blog, we wanted to share two versions of the recommended care instructions. One is the minimum or short version, best for busy individuals. And the other is the detailed version that can guarantee an extended life of your tee.

Minimum Care

• Delicate wash inside-out; hand wash if possible
• Use cold water, never hot
• Less detergent, no bleach, no softener
• Machine tumble dry low; air dry flat if possible for best care
• Do not iron the graphic directly; press between two pieces of cloth to protect the design or slightly press from the back to remove wrinkles in the graphic

Detailed Care

Washing

• Separate your white shirts from dark shirts to ensure dye from your colored clothing will not seep into your white/light-colored shirts.
• Wash inside out, so the wrong side of the shirt takes the agitation. In this way, you can preserve the graphic on the right side of the shirt. Consider using a mesh laundry bag for extreme care to protect delicate fabrics.
• Machine wash using delicate settings or wash by hand using cold water to lessen shrinking and fading.
• Stretch your shirt after washing (before drying) to get them back into shape.

Drying

• Tumble dry low in the dryer or air dry flat for best results to lessen shrinking and fraying of the fabric.
• Do not over dry.

Ironing

• Iron while the shirt is slightly damp, or use the steam in the iron.
• Do not iron the print. To remove wrinkles in the graphic area, slightly press inside out or between two pieces of cloth. Do not press too much or too long to avoid burning and peeling the graphic.
• Use a lint roller or lint remover as needed to remove small fibers.
• Ensure the shirt is completely dry before folding and storing in the closet.

Do not bleach

• Do not use bleach to avoid weakening the fibers in the shirt.
• Use less detergent and no fabric softener.
